What to do after a catastrophe

If the unexpected happens and a catastrophe occurs, take all the steps you can to stay safe. When you need to file your claim, your Desjardins Agent will be able to guide you through the process.

First steps

Keep in mind that filing a claim right away can be difficult. The best thing to do is detail the damage to your home, watercraft or auto and take an inventory of your losses.

If you cannot reach your Desjardins Agent, you can still report your claim by calling 1-855-209-9549.

A company representative will contact you as soon as possible. Normally, we'll be in touch within a few days of receiving your claim information.
