Online billing and payments FAQ
Desjardins Insurance makes managing your bills easy with our online billing and payment options. This page will answer your frequently asked questions. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for, contact your Desjardins Agent who will be happy to help.
Complete the registration process for online policy access. You will be able to access information for all of your policies and accounts within 48 hours.
Once you have registered, you will be able to view your current insurance bills and view bill and payment history.
Only the owner or "policyholder" of a policy can be given access to that policy. Please contact your Desjardins Agent for questions about ownership or names on a policy or account.
Mary would like to view both her auto insurance and her husband Ed's auto insurance on her Desjardins Insurance online account summary. However, Mary is not listed as an owner on Ed's policy, and therefore cannot view his policy on her account summary.
Ed can request his auto policy for online viewing. He will need to complete the registration process and create his own unique customer ID, using his own customer information.
However, both Mary and Ed can request access to the same auto policy or homeowners policy on which they are both policyholders.

The Payee name will appear as Certas Home and Auto Ins. Co., Certas H&A / DFS or Desjardins Financial Security, depending on your insurance policies or products.
Processing begins on the payment date of your payment. Generally, your policy/account will be credited the same business day your payment is processed. You may refer to the terms and conditions of use and FAQs for more detail.
In most cases, charges to your credit card will be processed the same day as your payment date. Authorized payments will be reflected online within 48 hours. However, because payments are processed nightly Monday through Friday, the "policy amount due" listed on your "Policy Information" page may not reflect the payment for up to two business days.
Generally, all payments received by mail, electronically or via your agent are displayed in the Payment section of your online account. Your Desjardins Agent is in the best position to answer any specific policy and payment questions.
No, your SFPP will remain the same.
No, you will not need to complete a new authorization form. For more information, contact your agent or visit the "Change" page on our website.

- Certas H&A / DFS - State Farm Fire (use your 9-digit State Farm policy number)
- Certas H&A / DFS - State Farm Life (use your 10-digit State Farm policy number)
- Certas H&A / DFS - State Farm Auto (use your 13-digit State Farm policy number)
- Certas H&A / DFS - SFPP (use your 10-digit SFPP account number)
- Certas Home and Auto Ins. Co. (use your 8-digit policy number)
