What you should do before starting a quote
Have your current policy on hand for reference purposes (especially for coverages and deductibles).
Review your condo association’s bylaws.
Review information from your association’s governing board outlining what you need to insure versus what the master association policy insures.

You cannot get a condo insurance quote if:
- The unit is owned by a corporation or formal partnership.
- You want to insure the entire building.
- You do not occupy the unit at any time during the year.
- You rent the unit to others 365 days per year.
A Desjardins Insurance condominium unit owners policy is for the customer who owns and occupies (at least part of the year) a dwelling unit in a structure owned and insured by a condominium association, a townhome association, a cooperative, a homeowner association, a planned community or similar types of organizations.
The condominium unit owners insurance quotes generated by this program are not a contract, binder or agreement to extend insurance coverage and are based on information you have supplied. To obtain coverage, you must submit an application to Desjardins Insurance. All applications for coverage are subject to underwriting approval and subject to applicable provincial and federal laws. All policies may not be available in all provinces. For more information, contact a Desjardins Agent.
Qualifying residents in most jurisdictions may have the option to purchase coverage online after obtaining an online condo insurance quote. A Desjardins Agent is available to help you complete the purchase process.
